GC Controller works in single player but not NetPlay - HolyJoe - 01-22-2016
So I'm new to Dolphin and downloaded the latest version (4.0-8757)
Followed the instructions here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=How_to_use_the_Official_GameCube_Controller_Adapter_for_Wii_U_in_Dolphin
and got the GC controller working great in single player (SSBM).
When hosting or joining a NetPlay game, the controller is unresponsive, though I can still use the keyboard. (I have the Netplay Community Settings checked, everything else works flawlessly)
The buddy I'm playing with is using only keyboard. We tried various combinations of settings under the "Controllers" menu, but no dice.

Me and my friend have the exact same problem. Both our controllers work when we play offline, but not on netplay.
I have tried with another friend of mine whos using a n64 controller, and his controller works when we set up netplay, but mine still doesn't.
We have tried a lot of different settings in controller options, but none have worked thus far. Any ideas?

That's not a solution, that's a description of the problem.

Well, you're not wrong.
BUT, the only way to fix the problem is to use an older version of dolphin, like the bug report says.

Indeed. Until a fix is released, you'll have to use 4.0-8593 or earlier.

Hey, thanks for taking a look at this issue. I'll grab version 4.0-8593 and give it a shot.
The latest version (8814) hangs/freezes when starting a game in Netplay; not sure if you guys have run into the same issue. If I can help by uploading some kind of error log, I will try that.

Version 4.0-8863 runs great using the WiiU adapter on Netplay
