Dolphin based PC - Elaiasmat - 01-17-2016

Hey everyone,I was thinking of buying a gaming PC,BUT gaming stuff is expensive as F** in my country,so I had the idea of building a cheap pc that can run old games, since I'm a very lover of old school games this one could entertain me easily until this country gets out of this financial crisis.
Dolphin should be the hardest thing for this pc to handle, and I already have an notebook for general use,so this build can be tottaly focused on dolphin.
Here is what I did: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RrF3hM
CPU:AMD A8-7600 (4x3,1)
RAM:2x4gb GSkill
GPU:Radeon R7(ON BOARD!)

The thing here is the gpu, although some people say on board cannot handle it,my intel HD graphics 5500 runs Zelda TP at 720p at 100% speed(30fps)

A benchmark of the apu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TfMjdznekE

What I want to know is:this build can handle any gc/wii game at 100% speed on 720p?(I really don't have the need of 1080p) And if it does, could I even chose an even cheaper processor?

Thanks in advance

For Dolphin and old games (which are both mostly dependant on single-thread performance), an AMD CPU is not a good idea. If you're looking for a cheap CPU that will run Dolphin very well, the G3258 is even cheaper than that AMD and will run games much better.

Also, an integrated GPU is not recommended as it will struggle to run many games at more than 2x internal resolution (720p).

Get an intel chip and a cheap nvidia GPU.

so I picked an intel pentium wich by the way is awasome(and cheaper)
about the same level motherboard
but now, because I had to pick a external gpu,it raised the price by a 90.
considering that this video card is WAY better do you guys think its worth it?I could ever run some old high quality graphics pc games such as crysis and maybe a farcry 3

You won't be able to run anything above 2x internal resolution without lagging significantly if you don't buy a dedicated GPU. As well as having to deal with Intel's not-the-best GPU drivers.

That GPU will let you set internal resolutions up to 3 or 4x without a problem, and you can have anti aliasing if you want it

I recommend getting a Z97 board, as it allows for official overclocking of the G3258
