Wii games that dont need a Wiimote - Nexxus - 01-02-2016 I got dolphin running solid and was looking to get some wii games for it, but I dont currently have a wiimote setup so im just using an xbox controller currently, was wodnering what games I can use with just the xbox controller without any issues/missing abilities. Currently have SSMB but that's it. Not looking for a complete list of course but bigger name stuff RE: Wii games that dont need a Wiimote - JosJuice - 01-02-2016 These Wii games should be simple to set up for an Xbox controller: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Wii_games_that_use_the_Nintendo_GameCube_controller https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_that_use_the_Classic_Controller Some other games also work, but their controls can be more complicated to set up. Thank you though
RE: Wii games that dont need a Wiimote - mbc07 - 01-03-2016 There are many games which uses sideways Wiimote to play, those shouldn't be hard to map into a Xbox/DualShock controller... If you can use a DS3 (PS3 controller) you can play most Wii games as the DS3 has motion support, but it won't work good for a couple of games that make a different use of the Wiimote (As WarioWare) or needs WiiMotionPlus. I've used a DS3 for like 6 years and I had a lot of configurations for each WiiMote position Like, one for a Wheel, one for SideWays and keeping a button pressed to use the IR, one for WM + Nunchuck, etc. 5 months ago I finally decided to buy a WiiMote If you can get a WiiMote and a DolphinBar or Wii Sensor Bar (If you are skilled enough you can modify a standard one to attach a USB connector to it) it would be the best. It's just better that way and you can play all the games (that don't need WM+ or specific attachments like the guitar) without needing to load config profiles before playing a game RE: Wii games that dont need a Wiimote - nikkima83185 - 01-26-2016 You all must be alot more talented then me because i couldn't for the lie of me get the stupid motioninjoy to work so i could use my ps3 controller it crapped out and i have a logitech hooked up to it that doesnt even have motion in it so i'd love to see some of the setups you had because i know a few kids that are dying to play mario party 8 &9 as well as some others but i cant figure out how to configure the controller right |
