Dolphin doesn't recognize Metroid Prime 2 Iso? - daholyone11 - 01-01-2016
So I try to play metroid prime 2 with the dolphin emulator, but all I get is a black screen, and then after a bit the emulator shuts off by itself. I can play the first metroid prime game just fine, in fact, I beat the game, but for some reason, this isn't working with metroid prime 2? Even when I choose to open a file from my file browser, I have to select "all files", for the game to show up, I don't have to do this with metroid prime 1, which shows up in the file browser when it looks for "All GC/Wii files (elf, dol, gcm, iso, wbfs, ciso, gcz, wad)"

Sounds like it wasn't dumped correctly, try it again.

Just get the game from off your disc like you did before.

Oh yeah, that's right, but it still doesn't fix anything. I haven't done this in a while.

What is the file name extension of the Metroid Prime 2 file?

The prime 1 file is .iso, the echoes file is .rar

Yeah, because .rar is totally in the list of supported filetypes that Dolphin gave you.
