Forcing 60fps on PAL? - Kurausukun - 12-25-2015 I'm playing a hacked GameCube game and the region is set to PAL; is there any way I can force the game to play at 60fps? For example, changing the region or something? The 50fps cap is really stuttery and distracting. EDIT: Sorry, jumped the gun--I found a patcher that lets you convert PAL to NTSC and vice-versa. But I'm still curious--are PAL GC games that don't have an ingame option forcibly locked at 50fps and there's nothing that can be done about it? RE: Forcing 60fps on PAL? - Aleron Ives - 12-25-2015 Yup. If you force the game to 60 Hz, you'll just get squeaky audio and twitchy controls. PAL games have to support PAL60 in order to run at NTSC speed. |
