Dolphin crashing and locks computer - Alkemyst - 12-16-2015

I have Dolphin 4.0-8305 and every so often the emulator crashes but not only does it crash, my computer crashes as well. I can't access Task Manager or Alt-tab or anything. I'm just looking at a black screen. I have to put the computer to sleep and when I wake it I get an error and then I can finally close Dolphin.

Anyone know what the problem is? Anyone know any fixes. I'm on Windows 10 if that helps.

Sounds like your display driver has crashed, possibly due to overheating.
You should monitor your temps with hwinfo, gpu-z, afterburner or anything that can and let us know what your temps are when you're gaming with Dolphin and when it happens when you wake up your laptop.

Excuse me for talking about things I might not be so knowledgeable about, but could it also be a power supply problem?

Yeah, it could be a hardware issue (power supply, overheating, faultly component, etc.)

That sounds almost exactly what happened when I played in full screen on 4.0-8313. Are you in full screen too?
