Issues with newer NVidia drivers - PeeteTheSwede - 12-10-2015

I can confirm that there are performance issues with newer Nvidia GPU Drivers.

Zelda Skyward Sword (18-20 fps outdoors), Metroid Prime Trilogy are unplayable with newer drivers. Driver from september works great though. Smooth and steady 30fps in Zelda.
Anyone else having same issues? I am on Windows 10 with 780 GTX and Core i7.

When I look at my GPU overlay I can see that the GPU is running at a very low clock speed, maybe thats the reason?
The driver is not setting GPU to high enough speed?
Any devs that can investigate perhaps?

I am running a developer build from Oktober or November and that runs great with drivers from september.

Well I've not tested every Dolphin version but the "stable" one that's 2 years old from here : **Link removed** works well, but the latest (4.0-8329) is 3 to 4 fps, even in the menu loading any game.

My current Nvidia driver version is 358.91, with a GeForce GTX 570 Ti.

Check the Framelimit setting. If it was set to Audio in 4.0, it will be set to 5 in the development builds. Set it to Auto instead.

oO I'm impressed... It must be the single setting I overlooked and you answered instantly.

Well I'ts now working perfectly even with the latest drivers on my computer, thanks for your help ! I just lost some of my saved states and a bit more due to my fiddling with Dolphin versions I'll be more careful now.
