Wii Classic Controller not normalized - akyryz - 12-04-2015

go to controllers > wiimotes > configure > Extension > Classic > Configure
set Left Stick > UP to W
set Left Stick > RIGHT to D

press W+D together and you will see it not normalized
try setting a Modifier like LSHIFT and

press and HOLD LSHIFT+W+D
the result will be a full W+D key press and not half like LSHIFT+W only

I think the first one, that they ain't normalized, is intended behavior.

Your second issue is not reproducible for me. The input is half of the non normalized W+D input.

its not intended... the slot of a real control is rounded...
vectors can produce a squared input if not normalized =\

diagonal bug:

you can run twice as faster in diagonal than in a straight line

if you don't believe me, go code and try getting the vector length from diagonals
