Hello!
I'm using 4-Play adapter
How about to add "Real Gamecube Controller", like "Real Wiimotes" which you already have.
Real Wiimotes + Mayflash Adapter work good and don't need to configurate each button.
Maybe you will add feature "Real Gamecube Controller" - so we don't will need to configure each Gamecube button

This already exists as the Direct Connect checkbox under GameCube Adapter. I don't think it works with the 4-Play adapter, though. You need an adapter that's compatible with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

How can I make Dolphin to recognize the 4-Play adapter?

That adapter isn't supported there, only the wii U adapter works.
