AR codes crash Dolphin? - Him - 11-07-2015 Probably a noob question, but I don't have the know how to figure this out. To start off, I haven't changed any of the settings, everything's set as the default settings. I've tried Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros Melee, Twilight Princess and I-Ninja with AR codes on, and on every game it crashes. I don't know where to see what version I have, but my SSBM is a v1.02. I looked up a master code for it, but the emulator gave an error message, saying not to use master codes. Not sure what to do at this point. Thanks. btw, without AR codes activated, the game runs perfectly fine at either 30FPS or 60FPS depending on the game RE: AR codes crash Dolphin? - Shonumi - 11-07-2015 Some AR codes are like that. Dolphin is not completely accurate in some regards, so some cheats simply don't work (AR and Gecko codes). Some games like to crash the emulator with cheats as well. This is something that has been around for years, so for now we have to deal with these kinds of issues. You could always try to make your own cheats; there's a chance they might be compatible with Dolphin in its current state, although it would involve a fair amount of work/research. |
