Graphic/FPS problems on Wii games - darkt2305 - 11-05-2015

I've been experiencing some strange graphic problems, that appear to affect only Wii games as far as I noticed, games seem less smoother (even running on 100% FPS/VPS) and flicker (Super Mario Galaxy), backtracking I found it started on version 4.0-7864. Is there any solution for this?

Are you in PAL50 mode?

You mean under Wii options right? It's unchecked.

So you are using PAL50? If it's a PAL game, it might explain your problems a bit. PAL50 mode is much less tested than NTSC or PAL60. You want to use PAL60, if you play PAL games, but you should not enable it when playing NTSC games, there is(was?) a bug around this.

Enabling it when playing NTSC games will simply have no effect.

It's NTSC actually, and checking the option really didn't much towards a possible fix. I got to the comments section on the specific PR for that revision, and BFG1992 also talks about the same issue: https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/3057 and he even made a report about this bug: https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/9023. Maybe it's already being worked on. Anyways, thanks for the help.
