HD texture issues - mic81784 - 11-03-2015
Hello,
I recently tried to install hd textures for Twilight Princess with no success. I used to most recent version of Dolphin and used the local config rule for the registry to point to the user folder. The textures will not load upon game start. the folder was populated correctly, and i placed the correctly ID'd folder with the textures in the folder and checked the option to load the textures in the settings. Any help on why they wont load?

By "most recent version of Dolphin", do you mean 4.0-8098? 4.0 and 4.0.2 are too old to support the new texture format.

Actually it was 4.0 revision 5398. The author of the texture pack says it has to be that revision in order for the pack to work. http://zeldatphdt.blogspot.com/

4.0-5398? The new texture format is supported in all versions starting with 4.0-5234, so there's no reason to stay at 4.0-5398 instead of using the newest. Anyway, it doesn't sound like the version is the issue.

No, you need exactly this version as this HD texture pack uses a broken format. I'm sorry for providing this build without hardcoded enabling of the converter, but it was only provided for converting this texture pack, not for using it. Please just blame the texture pack creator for it...

Ah, so it's a custom build, not the real 4.0-5398...
