Dumb Performance Question - Kurausukun - 11-03-2015 This might belong in the hardware section, but it'll be answered in one post either way so meh. Is there any benefit at all of having my ISOs on an SSD instead of an HDD? I'm running out of space on my SSD, and if it makes absolutely no difference, I'd love to put all my ISOs on my HDD. RE: Dumb Performance Question - Helios - 11-03-2015 There is no performance difference. RE: Dumb Performance Question - JosJuice - 11-03-2015 There is a very slight performance difference. It's so small that you won't notice it, and it will most likely be improved in the future. A regular HDD is already significantly faster than the disc drive in a real GC/Wii, so an SSD isn't really necessary. |
