Trying to play the game on 1080p and I get 20 fps. Even at Native I get low frames per second. Any tips or advice? RE: Only getting 20-25 fps in Skyward Sword - ExtremeDude2 - 11-02-2015 Why do you have "Force NTSC-J" enabled? No clue, I just turned it off though, doesn't seem to change much. RE: Only getting 20-25 fps in Skyward Sword - Kurausukun - 11-03-2015 I see you have Skip EFB Access from CPU unchecked--I don't know if it's your issue or not, but you should have that checked. Any game that needs it will have it enabled via the gameini. Also, try with the latest dev revision instead of a 5.0-rc, just for shits and giggles. Checked Skip EFB Access, tried the latest dev revision, and also tried a different game. Still only getting 25 fps, on both games (Skyward Sword and Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi Budokai 3). Other games play in 1080p and high fps though... My specs should be more than adequate right? What else should I try? RE: Only getting 20-25 fps in Skyward Sword - degasus - 11-06-2015 Are you using the PAL or NTSC version of this game? The PAL one may run in 25 fps mode. If so, check progressive scan (or pal60, I don't remember) to get 30 fps. In the end, don't look at the fps, there is also a percentual speed. If this one is at 100%, everything is fine. If you want more frames, just hit TAB, but so also the emulation will go faster

My Super Mario Galaxy seems a lot smoother on it's own. I will check to see which version of the game I have, thought it was NTSC. I'll try Tab too. Thanks! Edit: Tab didn't work Actually went from 25 to 22.
RE: Only getting 20-25 fps in Skyward Sword - degasus - 11-06-2015 Lots of games render at half frame rate (30fps in NTSC, 25fps in PAL). Super Mario Galaxy is one of the only 60 fps game with still an impressive graphics. |
