GameCube Paper Mario Crashes - Jhent - 11-02-2015

I've been having trouble playing chapter 2 on paper mario the thousand year door and i've tried just about everything and nothing seems to work. sometimes itll say "DSI exception in lmw" or " DSI exception in stmw" which i obviously dont know what that means. The problem changes everytime i try to change the settings. It either freezes, crashes, or gives me "DSI exception in lmw" or "DSI exception in stmw" and thats it. I have no idea what else to do. This happens in this specific part of the tree with this once piranha plant, if i battle him the game freezes and if i go down the pipe i get this message
Does anyone have any idea on why this is happening and or how to fix it?

Your best bet is probably to get the most recent development version of Dolphin here: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/

That's the latest stable version. The latest development version (As of writing) is 4.0-8084.

4.0.2 is almost 2 years old now.

Hope this Helps. Smile

If you're using regular native memory card saves, it will transfer just fine. If you're using savestates, those won't.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. Memory card files and saves will work across all versions of Dolphin, and even if you upgrade to a newer revision, you'll still be able to continue where you left off, and save.

Judging by the screenshot, you're still using 4.0.2. I suggest downloading the newest development build.
