VGA => HDMI - defre90 - 10-28-2015

Hello ,

I always used vga cable to use my pc on my big tv screen . Screen is kindy old and not full hd .
Dolphin works at full speed .

Last night i wanted to try HDMI cable to see if there was mush difference .
But he games runs now much slower because of using hdmi .

Must i change something in the settings ?

GPU is 750 gtx ti oc .

thx

What do you mean by lag?

I can tell you there is no setting that has to be made to Dolphin.  I have a HD monitor that uses the HDMI output and Dolphin runs just fine.  Maybe because your tv is older and you might be trying to force a resolution it can't handle?  Since my monitor handles up to 1080p, I don't set any resolutions higher than that because it can slow things down and cause a lag.  You might want to try lowering the resolution in Dolphin and seeing if that helps

Are you sure? I think it might have something to do with fullscreen.

I really don't understand , i tried already different resolutions . IN dolphin and in nvidia control panel .

With vga i keep getting 60fps , when i change to hdmi i get 50fps ??

In nvidia control settings i must also put , vsinc on and tripple buffering on .

I am sure its not my pc , 16gig ram , xeon cpu and nvidia gtx 750 gtx ti oc .

I just think there is something with the resolution i use from my gpu , because i found video output from vga more beautifull then when i use hdmi . Will check it again this weekend .

Or maybe its just my tv , maybe to old . Think already 8 or 9 years . Not even full hd .

Do windowed and fullscreen make a difference?

Maybe your monitor is set at 50 Hz, so enabling Vsync forces the game to run at 50 fps.
