Unable to get Wiimote Plus to work with Dolphin - wilburgoat64 - 10-27-2015
Hello!
I have been having major connection issues with my wiimote. It IS a wiimote plus TR, which I have heard they are very problematic, but many users with TR remotes still have been able to use them successfully with Dolphin....not me
This is what I have tried so far: (I have a laptop with a built in bluetooth adapter)
1) Pairing the wiimote with built-in adapter and default drivers (The wiimote successfully connects, but when I press refresh in Dolphin, it freezes)
2) Pairing the wiimote with built-in adapter and toshiba stack (The wiimote successfully connects, but when I open Dolphin, the wiimote immediately disconnects)
3) Pairing the wiimote with the Kinivo Btd-400 bluetooth dongle and default drivers (Same problem as 1) )
4) Pairing the wiimote with the Kinivo Btd-400 bluetooth dongle and toshiba stack (The wiimote connects, but then disconnects within seconds, even without opening dolphin)
I have done hours of research and I still have not been able to connect the wiimote. I heard built-in bluetooth adapters may not work so I had to buy the Kinivo Btd-400, which still didn't work. I'm out of ideas

I FINALLY got my wiimote to connect. I followed the instructions in the thread below and it worked
