Will my new PC be good enough? - FinalSmash - 10-23-2015 I'm building my own computer, and I wanted to know if it'll be good enough to run Dolphin well. Specs: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2 Ghz quad-core Skylake ASRock B150M-HDV motherboard 8GB DDR4 RAM I know my processor is more than capable of running Dolphin, but do I need a graphics card? I can run Dolphin on my laptop, which has no graphics card, but it's super slow, which is why I'm asking. Any help would be appreciated. RE: Will my new PC be good enough? - KHg8m3r - 10-23-2015 We recommend a dedicated GPU because Intel drivers have bugs that Dolphin doesn't like RE: Will my new PC be good enough? - FinalSmash - 10-23-2015 So it's possible to run it without one, but I should probably buy a GPU? Okay then. Thanks. RE: Will my new PC be good enough? - Helios - 10-23-2015 Well, yes, but a very low end cheap nvidia GPU will be infinitely better and less buggy than the Intel GPU. RE: Will my new PC be good enough? - FinalSmash - 10-24-2015 Alright, thanks for the help. I'm planning on getting the Oculus Rift when it releases, so I'll be getting a great GPU for that. RE: Will my new PC be good enough? - piccolo289 - 10-24-2015 yeah, intel gpus have issues in Kirby's return to dreamland and the twin snakes, i can personally attest for that |
