Been saying this since day one. :3 Actually, the developer is Tantalus. Grezzo and the Zelda team has proven to be better with the Zelda remasters. I don't intend for this to become a debate but being informed doesn't hurt, pulling a Nintendo is shit blablabla so bluntly is quite cheap and proof of misinformation. RE: TomoyaHD - Bringing RETRO to Life - MeleeHD - 11-14-2015 Hello! I understand that the recent announcement of TP HD in the Nintendo Direct of November 12th might demotivate the people behind this project. From one texture artist and Zelda fan to others, I'd like to stop in and say that you're all doing a great job and I far prefer the look of this mod to that of the Wii U release preview. Keep up the good work! RE: TomoyaHD - Bringing RETRO to Life - The_OMEGA - 11-14-2015 If anyone would like, i converted the entire texture pack currently available to .dds It gave me a 10fps performance boost and the texture pack is 1/4th the file size, just let me know if you'd like me to upload it. For reference, on the performance number, i have an FX-6300 overclocked to 4.6GHz and i have an R9 380 4G, the textures are being stored on an HDD, though i do have "Cache Custom textures on GPU" and "Prefetch Custom textures" enabled in Ishiiruka Dolphin, build 458 RE: TomoyaHD - Bringing RETRO to Life - Gamedominator06 - 11-14-2015 I'm not going to dump on Nintendo just because of something like that, but I was pretty underwhelmed by the showing for TP HD. Of all the games that needed some serious makeup, TP needed far more than WW. Not even Dolphin can cut off most of the aging in appearance like it can with WW so this is a really missed opportunity. With that in mind, you can bet I'm in full support of this project. RE: TomoyaHD - Bringing RETRO to Life - UmbraWitchJeanne - 11-14-2015 (11-14-2015, 06:49 AM)MeleeHD Wrote: Hello! I doubt the official TPHD would stop anyone. I mean, we've had an official HD port of Wind Waker for two years now, and that still hasn't stopped fans from making their own. Enabling the "Hyrule Field speed hack" speeds up other areas as well, i was having trouble with some places in Faron Woods, but this fixed it 2. Normal Anti-Aliasing seems to slow the game down more when running custom Textures, using FXAA in the Ishiiruka FX settings may fix this Im also running on Ishiiruka-Dolphin 458(f8cacda) RE: TomoyaHD - Bringing RETRO to Life - nate2000 - 11-16-2015 (11-16-2015, 03:47 AM)The_OMEGA Wrote:(11-14-2015, 12:47 PM)nate2000 Wrote:(11-14-2015, 09:31 AM)The_OMEGA Wrote: If anyone would like, i converted the entire texture pack currently available to .dds Thank you, looking forward to trying it out.
