It could be possible that they took down the site temporarily to help solve the budget issues. The last I heard of them was mid-January, when they made an independent app to help with the finances: https://www.facebook.com/tomoyatphdp/posts/1739115233010475
Looks like they're going through a particularly hard time, but I don't think it's dead yet. The "loads of updates" promise gives me some hope.

The project was not dead since their last stream, which was about a month ago. I could find out soon.

The posted an update to twitter, the project isn't dead. It's just slow right now and they need some more funds.

If you donate you can get in on the Discord which will have links to the texture pack and such, you can also download their app Jumpy Jelly on Android to help fund them and that's something you can do for free. They just need funds because they are working on getting some crazy stuff remade here beyond just custom textures. They're working directly with Tino, the developer of the Ishiiruka mod of Dolphin, to get some new features and such, which is why this can only be fully experienced with Ishiiruka.

question. i'm playing this now on ishiiruka 743
with the saved settings that i also used on ishiiruka 605
but now some floor textures are blank/bland colored and the trees and some foilage is white/gray while the exact same thing is fine on 605
any idea what it could be?

Tomoya Hamasaki and the rest of his team have said they've decided to move the project to Unity and are recreating everything from the models to the animations from scratch, so I guess that marks the end of the project as a texture pack/Dolphin mod. Good luck to them!

I've never heard about that Victor Rosa's graphic pack, it looks pretty nice.
Just in case, how much of the game does he have re-textured compared to the other packs?

I've downloaded Victor Rosa's pack and according to the "read me" file this pack is pretty much finished, almost 100% so is all good.
