Crash upon loading .DOL files - MarioMover - 10-04-2015 Hello! (First post on here....yay? )I can NOT seem to run .DOL files on Dolphin! Every time I load one, a new Dolphin window pops up, with a black screen, and then a message saying "Dolphin.exe has stopped responding". How do I fix this? I've been trying to test my level from Reggie! but I don't have a free SD Card to do so :/ Thank you for your time! -MarioMover RE: Crash upon loading .DOL files - JosJuice - 10-04-2015 Update to the newest 5.0 release candidate (not development version!) and see if it works there. RE: Crash upon loading .DOL files - MarioMover - 10-04-2015 I did, and it's still happening. I'm trying to load New Super Mario Bros. Wii's "boot.dol". Should I be loading "main.dol"? EDIT: I've been loading "main.dol" all along >.< Is there any way to fix this or is it my system? RE: Crash upon loading .DOL files - KHg8m3r - 10-05-2015 On the top bar of Dolphin, in Tools, there's an option to "Load Wii saves". Point that at your .dol file, and it should convert to what Dolphin uses. RE: Crash upon loading .DOL files - KHg8m3r - 10-05-2015 Whoops, the way I read it was that it was crashing because of the save file, not the actual loading. RE: Crash upon loading .DOL files - MarioMover - 10-05-2015 Ah. Could it be that the .DOL isn't properly loading a save-file? Or does that not matter? I've been using WiiScrubber for now, but I don't want to have to constantly patch the game over and over. |
