steam controller? - ION - 09-21-2015

dudes/dudets will dolphin be able to use steam controller when it comes out? also if it can't can it use ps4 controllers? which would be better for smash brother? is a ps4 controller actually ok for smash? i am new and i have so many questions.

Any controller can be configured for use as a emulated GameCube controller or emulated wiimote. The only real issues are motion control for emulated wiimotes. It's generally best to have an actual wii remote for games that rely on the wii's motion control. Wii motion plus however cannot be emulated.

So basically, the DS3, DS4, and Steam controller are all be fine for Dolphin!

Hmmmmmm interesting. So out of curiosity. Have you tried smash pm with a ps4 controller?

Someone will have done. Purists argue only the original GameCube controller is usable, but basically everyone else can cope with any controller with enough buttons.
