Keyboard controls limited for gamecube games - Tahtguy - 09-07-2015

Whenever I play Metroid Prime I am not able to strafe, which is L (lock on), left or right on the analog and b (jump). I currently am only using my keyboard with the controls given (working on getting a controller but I don't know if it will fix the problem. Another issue is I cannot lock on and fire while moving to the right (it works going forward, backward and to the left)

In my limited experience with other emulators, attempting to input more than 2 things simultaneously does not work on keyboard (at least not on ZSNES), but by all means get a controller. If the controls were made that way, the controller should handle it just fine.

Set L digital to one key, and L analog to another. That's all there is too it!

The game expects the analog to be triggered before the digital input; binding them both to a digital key makes the game think that only L digital was pressed, and L analog was not. And L analog is what does the strafing.
