Graphics randomly gone wild - NeonShadowz - 09-06-2015 I've been playing Super Smash Bros. Melee on my emulator for a while and never experienced any problems. Then one morning i turned on my computer, played Melee and the graphics looked like if you were to put the monitor into a blender. The game is still completely playable but the graphics make it impossible to enjoy because you can't tell what you're looking at. I don't want to get a new version of Dolphin because i'll lose all the progress I've made in this version. Here is a video of someone I found that has a similar problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BfM1BnftwM RE: Graphics randomly gone wild - KHg8m3r - 09-06-2015 Good news: you don't lose any data when updating! Dolphin uses a global user directory, so you can use new versions without having to worry about manually updating your save files
RE: Graphics randomly gone wild - JosJuice - 09-06-2015 Are you launching Dolphin with the Steam overlay enabled or something like that? I have Steam on my computer but as far as I know, I'm not using it while I use Dolphin. Unless you meant that it runs in the background without my permission RE: Graphics randomly gone wild - NeonShadowz - 09-06-2015 (09-06-2015, 01:50 AM)KHg8m3r Wrote: Good news: you don't lose any data when updating! Or do I just download any new Dolphin Client RE: Graphics randomly gone wild - JosJuice - 09-06-2015 (09-06-2015, 01:56 AM)NeonShadowz Wrote: I have Steam on my computer but as far as I know, I'm not using it while I use Dolphin. The only exception is if you've been using portable mode by putting a portable.txt file in the Dolphin.exe folder, in which case you will need to copy the User folder manually. [/quote] I can't figure out why the save data isn't transfering. I even copied all of the folders from my old version of dolphin and put them into the new download folder RE: Graphics randomly gone wild - KHg8m3r - 09-06-2015 Post a picture of the old folder and a picture of the new folder. RE: Graphics randomly gone wild - NeonShadowz - 09-06-2015 The newer one is one the left RE: Graphics randomly gone wild - JosJuice - 09-06-2015 The only ones of those folders that are supposed to be there are Languages and Sys. The other ones look like they were moved from C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Dolphin Emulator, where they're supposed to be. |
