what better setting for the dolphin - luccaot - 09-01-2015 Anyone Can HELP ME? I want to play F-Zero GX, Zelda Wind Waker and Skyward Sword!! My computer specs are these: CPU: Core 2 Duo E7300 GPU: ECS Nvidia GTX 550 Ti RAM: 4GB Kingston DDR3 OS: Windows 7 SP1 X86 Thanks!!!! RE: what better setting for the dolphin - Helios - 09-01-2015 Get a better CPU. And a 64 bit OS. RE: what better setting for the dolphin - degasus - 09-01-2015 64 OS is required to use dolphin at all. But your CPU *may* be fine for thin games like ZWW. But I doubt for F-Zero or SS. RE: what better setting for the dolphin - barat - 09-01-2015 I Had e7400 and this series overclocks pretty well. Mine was able to have stable 4GHz so try OC - each 100MHz is priceless in Dolphin ![]() And 64bit OS is a must. RE: what better setting for the dolphin - luccaot - 09-03-2015 OK. I put my core 2 duo e8400 in my motherboard and installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I can play F-zero, Zelda WW and SS at 55 frames and up with slowdowns sometimes. Thanks for the fast reply!! RE: what better setting for the dolphin - barat - 09-03-2015 8400 is a nice "overclocker" as well - read some guides and overclock it - You will gain a lot of speed
RE: what better setting for the dolphin - mimimi - 09-04-2015 Yes overclocking is a must with a Core 2 Duo, you will be limited by the cpu, so 30% more cpu speed will result in about 30% more fps. But even for Wind Waker, i'd say you need the right settings to play it smoothly. |
