Rotating control stick quickly on mac? - hoshinokirbys - 08-29-2015

Ok, first, this thread was the only help i could find. And the suggestions didn't help at all. I have tried:
  • Setting the directional keys to 7, 8, 9 ,0 so i could swipe across
  • Using Keyboard Maestro to create a shortcut
I know this will be required later for tube mode, but i have no controller. Is it more worth it to invest in a controller than to try to solve it otherwise? What kind should i even get?
I have a save state loaded in the super hammer tutorial. It is the farthest i've gotten

It really depends on the precise application that that game uses... It's quite possible that the 7, 8, 9, 0 trick is going too fast, or too slow! It depends on the game really...

I would highly recommend investing in a controller. It is SO much better than using keyboard and mouse! I'd recommend a DS3/DS4 with the SCP drivers, but a 360 controller would be fine.
