strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - danuota - 08-26-2015 Hi guys . (ehm sorry my english , use a translator...) I'm using this magnificent emulator with some titles Gamecube / WII , okay , running fluids for both video and audio , but I have a strange problem with both Beach Spikers (GC) (USA version ) and with Mario Kart Wii (EUR version ) : - Beach Spikers fine , fluid , in the first meeting ( quarter-finals ) and in the second meeting ( the semifinals ) then the problems start from the end , eye-catching video and audio delays and become unplayable . - Mario Kart Wii , everything ok with the first path , then the problems begin , especially with annoying audio glitches . is this normal ? use : Dolphin 4.0.7398 fullscreen 1920x1080 , Force 16 : 9 , internal resolution 3xnative , the rest of default options My PC : Intel I7 4770 3.4 GHz , 16 GB RAM Corsair DDR3 , AMD 270x 2GB R9 , WIN 7 64bit Thanks! RE: strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - danuota - 08-27-2015 no one knows help ? but , out of curiosity , you Beach Spikers works well at all? No problems with slowdowns audio and video ( becomes unplayable ) from the semifinals in arcade mode ? ![]() I tried to change the settings (DirectX or Open GL) (internal resolution auto or 3x native) (full screen ...ecc. ecc.) no way, always the same problem!!
RE: strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - KHg8m3r - 08-27-2015 Sounds like you may be getting thermal throttling. What are your temperatures when running Dolphin? RE: strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - danuota - 08-27-2015 Hello. Honestly I have not noticed particular temperature changes with these games and many other games again tested with Dolphin running fine. To this I would understand if it is a problem of the emulator with this title in particular or if Beach Spikers works well in all except me ! Boh ? You, to understand , put special configuration settings or leave the default setting ? The game requires special hack ? Thanks RE: strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - KHg8m3r - 08-27-2015 Use a program to check what the temperatures are when playing Dolphin, like http://openhardwaremonitor.org/ or something. Because since both Beach Spikers and Mario Kart are slowing down after a while of playing the game, I really think thats the issue. Could be CPU temps, could be GPU temps. keep an eye on both RE: strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - danuota - 09-02-2015 (08-27-2015, 03:09 AM)KHg8m3r Wrote: Sounds like you may be getting thermal throttling. Tried playing even Wario World ( GC ) , so good at the beginning , very cute game , runs smoothly both video and audio , but after a few minutes of the game began the usual slowdowns video and audio such as for Beach Spikers ( GC ) and Mario Kart Wii . The temperature of the graphics card is the norm , we are between 45 ° C and 50 ° C. I have plenty of RAM , 16 GB DDR3 Corsair 667 Mhz .... from what can depend this drop in performance of the Dolphin on my PC ? p.s. by the way, if i put in the background the Dolphin for example, to open AMD Catalyst Control Center to check temperatures of the GPU , i see that the game loaded with Dolphin and left in the background starts to turn in the correct speed until i close the Catalyst Control Center and resume to play!!!
RE: strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - NKF98 - 09-02-2015 you said the GPU temps were fine, did you check the CPU ones? RE: strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - danuota - 09-02-2015 (09-02-2015, 08:00 AM)NKF98 Wrote: you said the GPU temps were fine, did you check the CPU ones? Hello and thanks for asking . Just now he is playing with Beach Spikers (GC), when slowdowns audio and video which in fact make the game unplayable , i had the following temperatures : GPU 55 ° C CPU 52 ° C then i think nothing wrong right? It is strange that i have a powerful PC and i can not run some games with Dolphin fluids while other people with older PCs and less powerful of my not encountered certain problems .
RE: strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - danuota - 09-03-2015 For now i have solved my problem. I write it here because maybe it can be useful to others. Or it may be useful for programmers. I installed the "old" version of Dolphin 4.2 (stable) and finally with Beach Spikers ( GC ) i can play at full speed also going on in the game and not only to the semi-finals!! No slowdowns audio and video now . It 's back to work as well rumble pad with this game , with newer versions ( 4.7 - > ) rumble pad me not working.
RE: strange problem Beach Spikers/Mario Kart Wii - danuota - 09-03-2015 ...and now with version 4.2 Mario Kart Wii and Wario World (GC) also works great to me , at full speed!!!!
