Super Smash Games (not emulation question) - DolphinPC - 08-19-2015 I had no where to ask so:' I heard that those games are really fun. I love action games like god of war, Viewtiful Joe ETC. I don't play fighting games like tekken, mortal kombat, street fighter etc... Should I try it (I can get both brawl and melee for cheap so that's not a problem)? I have no one to play it with, The single player is fun? it's worth it (It's onvious to me that fighting games are better when playing with friends or online)? RE: Super Smash Games (not emulation question) - NKF98 - 08-19-2015 you can do netplay with a smash community such as smashladder RE: Super Smash Games (not emulation question) - DolphinPC - 08-19-2015 (08-19-2015, 01:35 PM)NKF98 Wrote: you can do netplay with a smash community such as smashladder Good to know, but I would like to hear if I should play this game, considering that I don't really like traditional fighting games, but Super Smash looks kinda different. I don't want to buy it before I hear some opinions (after all it's a genre I don't play) RE: Super Smash Games (not emulation question) - CyberMan - 08-19-2015 it's totally different. So my opinion - you like it. RE: Super Smash Games (not emulation question) - DolphinPC - 08-19-2015 (08-19-2015, 09:25 PM)CyberMan Wrote: it's totally different. (I don't know if I will use netplay, at least not now) RE: Super Smash Games (not emulation question) - barat - 08-19-2015 IMO such games are most FUN when You have 1-3 friends in same room in-front of same TV laughing ![]() I still remember that best multiplayer I had was on N64 GoldenEye 007 on split-screen (4 players)

Well when you started playning Mario and Kirby in start of story, then discover more Nintendo (NOT ONLY INTENDO!) characters... Well that's awesome! It's explosive mixture of platforming and fighting game IMO RE: Super Smash Games (not emulation question) - DolphinPC - 08-20-2015 (08-20-2015, 12:11 AM)CyberMan Wrote:(08-19-2015, 10:05 PM)DolphinPC Wrote:(08-19-2015, 09:25 PM)CyberMan Wrote: it's totally different. I don't play online all that often, and Single Player is fine for me. Of course AI players aren't the same as human players, but that doesn't mean it isn't challenging or interesting. Even though the AI is "easier" than a real human, you can still get your ass handed to you (especially if you like to do 2-on-1 or 3-on-1 like I do). The game play itself is actually pretty deep. Easy to get into, but there is a lot of strategy underneath it. |
