Controller identified, but unselectable - Jobby16 - 08-18-2015

Using dolphin 4.0.2

Newly downloaded Dolphin, and am unable to connect my wired xbox one controller for use as an active controller. It functions perfectly when under the use of xpadder, and is recognizable by the program, but when i go to select the controller in the gcpad menu, the controller shows up but when i select it, the bar remains blank and the controller unselected. I have since deleted and reinstalled dolphin to no avail. Can anybody help me identify the problem? I have attatched a photo if it helps.

Well while it might not fix your issue, don't bother with 4.0.2 as it's really slow and buggy compared to a recent master-branch build or the current 5.0 release candidate. Even if updating doesn't fix your current issue, your experience will be better once you get everything working.

Okay now running on the newer version, same problem is coming up. I've attempted using mayflash controllers as well, and the same problem arises. Is the problem something to do with a driver that i'm missing? Or should i be asking around on a different forum?

Hmm... What happens if you select your device, and then hit "refresh"?

The name then stays, but still no buttons register upon mashing them.

When the name stays in the device field, you click on a button and press something on the controller, and nothing at all happens?
