Xbox 360 controller not working - theforshizzalist - 08-10-2015
I have looked around and seen other people having problems with this but getting the issue solved. I have tried all of the suggestions that worked for other people and none of them are working for me. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the fact that I'm running Windows 10 and everyone else seemed to be running Windows 7.
Basically, I can configure the controller to work but I cannot save it as a profile and after I configure it and click "OK" it does not work in-game. One odd thing I noticed is that in the GCPad configure screen, when I click on the controller from the drop down menu it disappears and I have to click refresh in order for it to show up again.
This is showing that I have port 1 set up.

Here you can see that the controller is set up and inputs are being received.

Here shows that there is nothing saved in the profile, even after I have saved the current setup. I'm not sure if this is a problem or not though.

Try upgrading to the latest development build or 5.0-RC (There's no real point in using 4.0.2 anymore)
