all my games crash - emuguy15 - 07-31-2015
So i upgraded my computer to windows 10 and now when i try to load a game it crashes i don't know why this is happening because some one of my games it gets to the save select and when i chose one it crashes and others just crash when i start the game

Same issue here, seems to be a problem with Direct3D on Windows 10. Are you using Intel HD graphics or are you using a dedicated graphic card?
A workaround for this issue is to use OpenGL instead of Direct3D. Some games might not perform as well, but at least the emulator will work.

Please try what Kirbypuff has advised, then report back:
- Install the latest Win10 drivers for your GPU (v15.7.1 WHQL) from AMD's official web site: http://support.amd.com/
- Use the latest development build of Dolphin: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/list/master/1/
- Check out the Performance Guide: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-amd-ati-gpu-performance-guide-feat-dolphin

Looking at the guy's profile it appears he's not using AMD for his GPU, so that link wouldn't help him.
I've notice that Dolphin seems to be crashing on systems that are using Intel Integrated HD drivers.

Maybe it's the revenge of the Intel shader cache crash...? (update your drivers, and also delete the Documents/Dolphin Emulator/ShaderCache folder)

So i tried to update my graphics card but there is no update available my graphics card is intel hd graphics 4400. i also deleted the shader cash but it didn't fix the problem.
could the problem be directx 12?

i think it's just windows 10 systems that are having this issue, so it'll probably fix itself soon
the problem is probably not DX12. Intel is being weird about their drivers right now, so it might've been difficult for you to find any. did you install their beta drivers?

i did install the beta driver but it didnt fix the problem.

All my games worked on Direct3D prior to Windows 10, but now they all crash. Maybe we just need to wait for Dolphin to update or is this driver related?

If Microsoft broke something in Windows 10, it isn't Dolphin's fault. Changing your OS could cause a host of problems, especially when the OS is brand new. It's more likely that Windows 10 will need a patch from Microsoft (or a new GPU driver) to fix whatever's broken.
