Problem on ePSXe emulator... - Amon1995 - 07-28-2015 I know this is the Dolphin forums, but I thought I'd post it here because I'm getting no responses on NGEmu lol. Anyways, I seem to be getting a problem when using the OpenGL2 driver, when I play the game, the sound and picture skips a lot for some reason. I used to use this driver before on my old computer and it worked fine, but since I've upgraded to a new PC, I'm getting this issue. The emulator version I'm using is 1.9.25, I've tried 1.9.0 as well, but I get the same problem. Also here are my OpenGL2 driver settings: Plugin: Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 Author: Pete Bernert Card vendor: ATI Technologies Inc. GFX card: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series Resolution/Color: - 1920x1080 Fullscreen - Use Window size in Fullscreen mode - NO desktop changing - Internal X resolution: 2 - Internal Y resolution: 3 - Keep psx aspect ratio: off - No render-to-texture: on - Filtering: 0 - Hi-Res textures: 2 - TexWin pixel shader: on - VRam size: 1024 MBytes Framerate: - FPS limitation: on - Frame skipping: off - FPS limit: 60.0 Compatibility: - Offscreen drawing: 1 - Framebuffer effects: 3 - Framebuffer uploads: 1 Misc: - Scanlines: off - Mdec filter: off - Screen filtering: on - Shader effects: 5/3 - Flicker-fix border size: 1 - GF4/XP crash fix: off - Game fixes: on [00000002] Any ideas on how to sort this out? RE: Problem on ePSXe emulator... - NKF98 - 07-29-2015 pete's drivers have always caused issues with me, but his older one (P.E.o.P.S or something) have caused less issues RE: Problem on ePSXe emulator... - Amon1995 - 07-29-2015 The thing is I can only use custom shaders on the Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 plugin, so I really want to solve this issue and use that one instead. The other plugins aren't really that good unfortunately. RE: Problem on ePSXe emulator... - NaturalViolence - 07-29-2015 Sorry but this bugs me immensely so I have to bring it up. It's a plugin, not a driver. The word driver does not appear in the name or documentation. And that is done deliberately because it would make absolutely no sense if it did. I had to reread your OP to figure out that you weren't actually talking about an OGL2 driver. RE: Problem on ePSXe emulator... - Amon1995 - 07-30-2015 [attachment=13717] RE: Problem on ePSXe emulator... - NaturalViolence - 07-30-2015 That's so dumb. It's not a driver. Out of curiosity where did you download it from? The download on his website is not named that. RE: Problem on ePSXe emulator... - Amon1995 - 07-30-2015 I downloaded a ePSXe pack ages ago, it had all the plugins and everything with it. I guess it just happened to be called that lol. RE: Problem on ePSXe emulator... - Amon1995 - 07-30-2015 By the way guys, this issue has now been fixed: http://ngemu.com/threads/problem-with-petes-opengl2-driver-2-9.174137/ Turns out it was Raptr causing the issue for some reason, now that I've disabled it on startup, I'm now getting no lag during gameplay. RE: Problem on ePSXe emulator... - NaturalViolence - 07-31-2015 Sorry I had to: (Show Spoiler)
RE: Problem on ePSXe emulator... - Amon1995 - 07-31-2015 I'll defintely be getting Nvidia next. |
