I fonally decided to bolt down and build a PC.

I went for the mini itx tower because i like how it looks and it would fit snugly on my desk.
I plan on overclocking the cpu to 4.2 GHz
I just want a pc that can emulate games well right now, then raise enough cash to upgrade to an i7 at a later date. Will this pc be good enough for that?

You have some guts to buy ESC's mobo . I wouldn't touch any ESC mobo not even with ten foot pole
And stay away from H81 mobo if you're thinking about this

Luckily you're not going to keep that processor. The g3258 is not good for gaming and for emulator . You will be cpu limited in some games but if you change it after that, i think that will be ok.

Lol i dont see the i7 4960x in your benchmark, and this processor its not faster than my processor. i have the 4960x not the 4690k. ^^

Your CPU is Ivy Bridge E which is even worse than Haswell i5 4690k , not even on par with i3 4130
Keep in mind that Dolphin is a dual core application . Even if your CPU had 100 cores , you would still have the same performance

Ah ok sorry for this mistake ^^. i was thinking dolphin use more than 2 cores. But in game my cpu its better because some games use more than two cores.

And if this guy want to play last video game with that processor i think he will be cpu limited. but apparently for dolphin no problem :-)

Dolphin , PCSX2 and many other emulators are mostly dual cores application
I think RPCS3 PS3 emu may change that but who knows what will come!
