Vsync and input lag - Sgt. Pepper - 07-17-2015 Can anyone estimate that how much does using Vsync increase input lag in Dolphin? I can't play without it, screen tearing was far too noticeable. Usually I force Vsync directly from graphics drivers, is that a better solution? I've enabled Vsync and triple buffering for dolphin.exe in Nvidia Control Panel. Vertical sync isn't currently enabled in Dolphin program. RE: Vsync and input lag - Kurausukun - 07-17-2015 I usually enable Vsync via the control panel even if the program has an option--it usually works just as well if not better. Vsync should not introduce any input lag unless the game is running at less than 100% (at least, I'm pretty sure that's how it works). I sure haven't noticed any, and I'm doing the exact same thing as you--Vsync and triple buffering via Nvidia Control Panel. Are you noticing any input lag? RE: Vsync and input lag - Smashbro29 - 07-20-2015 So you'd recommend using the control panel over Dolphin's built in system? |
