direct connect issue - BAPEHEAD - 07-17-2015
During my twilight princess run, I reached a portion of the game in Hyrule Field which gives me 20 fps on the 4.0-5886 version. This makes the game almost completely unplayable. I then downloaded the newest regular version of dolphin, version 4.0.2 and the game runs fine at this area, the only issue is my controller doesn't work. I read that dolphin only has build in support for the official adapter, but I use the mayflash adapter and I see no option to enable direct connect. Is there any way to get my controller working for version 4.0.2? Thanks in advance if you can help me.

No, you can't direct connect on 4.0.2, it was added in 4.0-4599.

If you haven't done so, you need to enable the Hyrule Field Speed Hack in the game properties. It will improve the performance in the newer Dolphin versions.
