I would assume tabbing is pressing the [Tab] button over and over

so it turns out the boom application was the real issue. the audio is no longer lagging behind, and i truly apologize for wasting everyone's time on an issue not even related to dolphin. have a nice day!!

Not a waste of time. Now we know how to fix if we come across another problem like this
