Well alot of biblical profecies has to take place first. In revelations its talking about the end days.
It says that all men will need the mark on their hand to be able to purchase anything. And then the apocalyptic trigger of the invasion on Israel by the russian and arabs and all that stuff. The anti christ will proclaim himself the leader of the world.
And if you memory serves me well you will have the second coming of christ and there will e peace for like a thousand years.

So according to the bible this will be very busy two years if its supposed to end by 2012 because at this point I can buy all kind of stuff without carrying the mark of the beast.

You're forgetting that the world has close to 7 billion people. 2.3 billion of them are christians, which means there are 4.7 billion people who don't believe or have anything to do with the bible or christianity. In other words about 70% of the world don't read the bible. They all have their own gods, deities, goddesses etc.. Which are cultural products of their environments and societies (just like christianity is a product of the near-east and an off-branch of judaism, but it has spread to previously pagan areas like Europe)
