RE: Testers Wanted: GBA GameCube link cable test build - Caduceus81 - 02-28-2015

I noticed that when I use the Japanese Pokemon Colosseum disc, I have to keep the GBA port disabled because otherwise the controls stop working completely. If I enable it after I get past the first menu, everything works fine. That is until it actually tries to transfer something and then the Pokemon Ruby game starts normally (after a pretty long delay) on VBA and the transfer fails. Dolphin only notices the transfer fails when actually closing the VBA emu.

Haven't been able to get the link to work properly on both the American and Japanese Pokemon Colosseum bonus discs yet, but this is a step in the right direction, compared to how it used to be.

I have this issue too. I'm on USA.

RE: Testers Wanted: GBA GameCube link cable test build - Bk10101 - 03-06-2015

What do I do with the patch that comes with the VBA in the download link?
The readme didnt have anything on it.
Just wanted to get Gale of Darkness to trade with Emerald. I managed to once get Emerald to have "XD Gale of Darkness Standby" with the recent build of vba from their site and that was on a 32 bit XP. When I try to run any game on this VBA I get Cannot Setcooperative level.

RE: Testers Wanted: GBA GameCube link cable test build - skid - 03-06-2015

The patch is for people that want to compile their own VBA-M build with the changes necessary to make it work.

For the Cannot set co-operative level error, have you tried updating DirectX?

Still not quite perfect. It seems like it connects back better when loading an area, but doesn't always work.

My speed also went from a consistent 30 FPS to 20 with just 2 VBAs now in River Belle.

RE: Testers Wanted: GBA GameCube link cable test build - skid - 03-13-2015

Shokuryu, I have made change that might help with the fps drop in River Belle. Would you please try the latest build (using the same links in the OP) and let me know if it's better?

The latest version does not work with Sonic Advance And Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
However the Build from February 23 works fine with these games I can edit chao on VBA-M with memory viewer after transferring to the
VBA-M Emulator and transfer back to the Dolphin with the results.
