best settings for super mario galaxy 2 - misterdean - 12-11-2014 specs 4.0 - 4575 intel 4770K @ 4.0ghz EVGA 780 Ti 8gb DDR3 2400 samsung 840 EVO SSD windows 8.1 x64 settings open GL v-sync off AA none AF x1 DSP HLE JIT recomplier game runs smooth most of the time but every now and then the emulator has a hiccup the FPS drops and the game studders. since i already have the AA and AF as low as it can go i was hoping somebody here can suggest a few tweaks so i can play the game without slow downs. RE: best settings for super mario galaxy 2 - JMC47 - 12-11-2014 Probably shader cache stuff; you'll have to just deal with it; it'll happen less and less as you play the game and the shaders are cached. RE: best settings for super mario galaxy 2 - misterdean - 12-11-2014 it's annoying. i don't want to just deal with it. i want it to go away. RE: best settings for super mario galaxy 2 - xystus - 12-11-2014 Try Ishiiruka Dolphin: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-ishiiruka-dolphin-custom-version It has the Predictive FIFO + Full Async Shader and does wonders. Give it a try. RE: best settings for super mario galaxy 2 - misterdean - 12-11-2014 i'm gonna try. thanks for the tip. RE: best settings for super mario galaxy 2 - misterdean - 12-11-2014 Ishiiruka had the same lag, until i turned on FIFO and async. now it runs perfectly even with AF 16x and AA 8x quality level 32. thank you for being helpful. now i want to make it look the best it can. should internal resolution be window size or 6x ? RE: best settings for super mario galaxy 2 - Nobbs66 - 12-11-2014 You should be able to get away with 4-6x. I don't really think there's much of a quality difference between the two resolutions though. |
