Woah NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet Super Mario Sunshine - Mace_A2M - 12-01-2014 First things first im running version 4.0-4394 on an NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet with Android 5.0 Super Mario Sunshine works almost flawlessly besides a few fps lower than normal and when any NPC talks the fps is cut in half during cutscenes. I have not played for very long and I will update the post on a few things after I test the following. 1. Is there any tweaks in the settings I can use to stop the lag during NPC speaking? 1Ra. No settings tweaks seem to help EDIT:I am using the fastmem option. I'm not sure if this matters a significant amount as I have never had it deselected because when I try to load the game without it it freezes at the title screen. 2. Does the game lag when NPCs talk out of cutscene? (Not sure if they ever do just something for me to watch out for) 2Ra. 3. Watch for and write about any graphical bugs besides fps drops 3Ra.During cutscenes many black dots are visible on the edges of objects and entities 3Rb. 4. Note any significant fps drops besides NPC talking and try to find the source. 4Ra. When many NPCs are loaded the game has a 5-10 fps drop. Ex. Delphino Square 4Rb. When shooting water the game drops 0-2 fps, depending on what it is shot at and what type of nozzle is used, presumably because of more entities being spawned. (Many many water droplets) 5. Watch for and write about any gameplay bugs that do not happen on real hardware. 5Ra. When not using fastmem the game freezes at the title screen. 5Rb. The whole game seems darker than real hardware? My disk that I own is scratched and I am not able to test this for sure but it seems this is true from my memory. RE: Woah NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet Super Mario Sunshine - pauldacheez - 12-01-2014 >5Rb. The game actually gets brighter and brighter as you gather more Shine Sprites – this is explained in-game at some point. I'll leave the rest of the questions to someone who actually cares about Dolphin for Android. |
