Best way to configure mouse for camera control? - smartazjb0y - 11-10-2014

So I'm using Keyboard+mouse for Xenoblade and I want to set up the mouse as the right joystick so that moving my mouse changes the camera angle, but when I did this the movement was just too slow. Is there any way to increase sensitivity or something so that moving my mouse moves the right joystick a lot?

There's no way to do that in Dolphin. It may be possible through some sort of cheat, but the game has set the camera speed, and Dolphin can't touch that directly.

Ah, that's a shame. Using keyboard keys it works fine, I guess it's just different with a mouse

You have maxed out the camera rotation speed in xenoblade's ingame options right?

Yeah, so it definitely works well/quickly using keyboard keys. I guess I'll learn to live with it

Try this and see if you like it.

Right click each right stick direction, and set the "Input" range value from 0 to 500. This should, in theory, make any movement of the mouse behave at max input for a keyboard like feel. I think... Trying it, it seems to work, but it's reeeaaaally figity, so it will probably need some fine tuning to the range values to get it right.

How did you map your controls for the keyboard and mouse? I'm trying to do that but with no success. (and yes ik this post was from 3 years ago, but im getting desperate here)
