That aren't at 60 FPS originally? Without the speed-up?

There are some games that are designed to run on a 30 FPS format. There are others that are programmed run at full 60 FPS.

Why asking this though? Experiencing slowdowns or anything?

I'm just curious, 60 FPS is so much better to play at, it's just a really nice luxury.

It's how the game is designed, some run at 60 fps others at 30 fps. If you want a 30 fps game to run at 60 fps then the entire game will go really fast, unless you don't mind playing a game in fast forward. The only game that I have come across that is intended to be 30 fps and someone created a patch to 60 fps is Kingdom Hearts on PCSX2. I don't know how they patched it though.

Basically emulating (heh) what others have said. It depends on what frame rate the developers originally designed the game to run at, and I don't think there will ever be a satisfactory workaround to it.
