What Is Turbo Speed? - Pringo - 10-12-2014 In the homepage description it says "It allows PC gamers to enjoy games for these two consoles in full HD (1080p) with several enhancements: compatibility with all PC controllers, turbo speed, networked multiplayer, and even more!" What exactly does turbo speed refer to here? Is it a specific feature in Dolphin? RE: What Is Turbo Speed? - JMC47 - 10-12-2014 Turbo Speed = turning off the framelimit. It means if, let's say you played wind Waker ten million times, started a new game, and didn't want to watch the opening cutscene? You can just hold tab to "turbo" through the cutscene as fast as your computer will let you. On RPGs, it can be useful for grinding and stuff too. RE: What Is Turbo Speed? - Pringo - 10-12-2014 Ah yeah, I thought it might be something like that. Thanks for clearing that up. |
