Updating from older development version to a newer... - Rikabu - 10-10-2014
So I'm currently using 4.0-1592-x64, and wish to update to 4.0-3575-x64. For all my searching, I can only find people talking about updating from 3.5 to 4.0, so I'm a bit stumped.
Question ends up being, how exactly do I update from one development version to a newer one, while still keeping savefiles and controller configuration?
Thank you in advance, I apologize if this is something I should've been able to find on my own, I haven't had much luck unfortunately.

it will automatically. All the save files and stuff are stored away from teh build itself.

So, just to make sure, I simply download the new version and extract all the files in the .zip into the same old folder I was using before?
Sorry for being annoying, I want to make sure I do this right since I have some saves I'd rather not lose >_>

No, you just download the new version and extract it wherever you want, your savefiles will transfer immediately without you needing to do anything.
