EFB copies to texture or to RAM for emulation accuracy? - junjunleon - 10-01-2014 Hi, As we know, EFB copies has two option, to texture and to RAM. Here I am curious that which one is better for emulation accuracy sake. Thank you! RE: EFB copies to texture or to RAM for emulation accuracy? - JMC47 - 10-01-2014 RAM is more accurate, but texture is far, far faster. GET IT!I prefer to accuracy rather than framerate to some extent. thank you, JMC47. RE: EFB copies to texture or to RAM for emulation accuracy? - Garteal - 10-01-2014 Most of the time you won't visually notice a difference between RAM and Texture except for your frame rate so you might want to give Texture a try regardless. Most games that need efb to RAM have it enabled by default in the gameini database. So you get a speed up for every game that doesn't need it. The only game i remember now that doesn't have it enabled by default on purpose is New Super Mario Bros because it is too demanding for most pcs out there. |
