EFB copies to texture or to RAM for emulation accuracy? - junjunleon - 10-01-2014

Hi,

As we know, EFB copies has two option, to texture and to RAM.

Here I am curious that which one is better for emulation accuracy sake.

Thank you!

RAM is more accurate, but texture is far, far faster.

GET IT!I prefer to accuracy rather than framerate to some extent.
thank you, JMC47.

Most of the time you won't visually notice a difference between RAM and Texture except for your frame rate so you might want to give Texture a try regardless.

Most games that need efb to RAM have it enabled by default in the gameini database. So you get a speed up for every game that doesn't need it. The only game i remember now that doesn't have it enabled by default on purpose is New Super Mario Bros because it is too demanding for most pcs out there.
