Dolphin does not work in SteamOS - King Dude - 09-29-2014
An error pops up whenever Dolphin is launched on SteamOS. Version number seems to be irrelevant. Thoughts?
Perhaps it's because SteamOS uses it's own graphics compositor? Or should that even matter?

There was a post around here the other day about this. Are you using the download straight off the downloads page? Cause those are compiled for Ubuntu 13. Steam OS and Ubuntu are both based on Debain, but have different dependencies, so you'll need to compile Dolphin yourself from the github page yourself, or find someone who has compiled it already.

Yeah I downloaded it. Crap, I'm really cruddy with compiling programs. Do you think one of the developers could build Dolphin for SteamOS and then give it to Valve to add to SteamOS's available programs? I would, if I wasn't away from the Steam Machine I use.
