Dolphin finds Wii Mote > Games doesn't react to it. - Kikuj - 09-16-2014 Hey there. So two years ago or more, I was using Dolphin and I could connect my Wii Mote with ease (the one version with Pair button, now it's removed for the refresh button only). Now I decided to try Dolphin out again so I did everything I could to connect my Wii Mote and with success. The computer installed the drivers and the computer found the Wii Mote. When I then pressed 1 & 2 to activate my Wii Mote, the Dolphin program found it and my Wii Mote started vibrating for a second and the first light was showing, indicating that it is connected to it. But here's the problem; When I launch a game (for an example, Project M) the game do not receive any input from the Wii Mote at all, even though the Wii Mote is connected to Dolphin (I kept spamming refresh when the game was on and it started vibrating, indicating again that it's working.) I tried various of things like enable USB keyboard in Wii settings. Remove the Gamecube input to nothing (just resetting the settings). Tried re-connecting the Wii Mote; nope. I alt+f5'd ingame, nope. Tried all Players (Player 1 Player 2 Player 3 Player 4, even enabled them all at once but nope). Information about my stuff: I had a laptop two years ago with built-in bluetooth that worked perfectly with the wiimote. The bluetooth dongle I've now, is a built-in one in my desktop. I tried going on my laptop (different from the one two years ago) who also has a built-in bluetooth dongle, works with ease, picks up my wii mote fast but the same problem. The game won't react to it. My Wii Mote is a old one, same one that worked 2 years ago with dolphin, with a Wii Mote Plus that you can connect and disconnect (tried doing both and still no reaction from the game). I tried the toshiba stack thingy on my laptop but still the same problem (but my wiimote doens't have -TR in the end so I don't think I should've used it anyway). TLDR: My wiimote is connected to my computer and dolphin but doesn't work ingame even though the lights indicate it's player one and tried on a different computer and the same problem. Please help friends ;_; [Posted this in Controller sub-board aswell, sorry ;_;] RE: Dolphin finds Wii Mote > Games doesn't react to it. - JMC47 - 09-16-2014 You're using the dualcore netplay branch that disables Wiimotes. Please use official builds before posting issues, thanks! Please use official builds before posting issues, thanks! What? Netplay is not a official build for Dolphin? A friend gave it to me and I thought it was the newest version with new builds.... How come it disabled Wiimotes? What kind of dolphin program is that then? RE: Dolphin finds Wii Mote > Games doesn't react to it. - JMC47 - 09-16-2014 It's a specialized version of Dolphin used for Dualcore Netplay in a few games; it's not meant for general use. RE: Dolphin finds Wii Mote > Games doesn't react to it. - Kikuj - 09-16-2014 Well that's news to me. Thanks for the heads-up JMC47. RE: Dolphin finds Wii Mote > Games doesn't react to it. - JMC47 - 09-16-2014 No problem, it's something of an issue because the DC-netplay branch got too popular. We're working on rectifying that by having Dualcore Netplay in master. |
