so it's ok to let my gpu temp climb to around 95C idle?

Do you the fan at 100 % ?
Doyou have a fan ?^^

Ok Edited :
I made my research and mostly its gpu to 500 and ram to 850 but 69°C degrees with fan at 100 % in rivatuner and 75°C is the limit for your card !

OMG thts bad!! lol you better cool it down a little...lol go buy a cooling unit for like $40...get a good one tho and you should be good

wow, 95 C idle is not good. I don't care what card it is. I'm suprised the card even functions like that....

Mine idles around 50-60, under load it will hit 80-85. And even that scares me. Granted I have a pretty powerful card, but still...

40 box is actually more expensive than the card itself ^^

Unknownforce : Who said 95°C ?

before my gpu hits 110-120° i dont even care.

the chip is most likely never damaged.

voltage regulators or stuff like that, without overheating protection, thats what matters. The gpu itself will just turn off.

also 100°+ is not that hard for this kind of chip. maybe reduces lifetime from 20 years to 10, well who cares.

my first gpu didn't even had a passive cooling and probably was above 100° even in idle.
Still it lives since 1996.
