RE: Watchdog - FilthyOstrich - 08-21-2009 Its just the FPS rate on the ones which actually work... most annoying! RE: Watchdog - MarioMadness - 08-21-2009 (08-21-2009, 03:57 AM)FilthyOstrich Wrote: Also... whenever i first install an SVN build it always gives me an error message which starts with "Failed to grab 1BG of contiguous memory." Could that be why its not running sweetly? Are you Running KasperSpy? Q. "Failed to grab 1 GB of contiguous memory! Do you have an antivirus program that etc." One of the following may work, but if you have a program installed that is not allowing Dolphin the memory it needs such as an old version of Kaspersky then your only choice is to uninstall said program. Fix 1: Right click the "dolphinwx.exe" icon and click on "Properties" Select the "Compatibility" tab, then under "Input Settings" check the "Turn off advanced text services for this program" box and then press "OK" Restart Dolphin and try again. Fix 2: Right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties". Click on the "Advanced" tab and click on the "Settings" button under "Performance". Click on the "Advanced" tab and click the "Change" button under "Virtual Memory". Select the drive that contains your game .iso Select "Custom Size" and enter in at least 1534 (MB) for the "Initial Size" field and at least 3048 (MB) for the "Maximum Size" field. Click "OK" on all of the windows that were opened. You will then be prompted to prompt you to restart. Do it, then try dolphin again. RE: Watchdog - FilthyOstrich - 08-21-2009 Hi Mario, thanks for ur interest... TRied the 1st one... No diff... RE: Watchdog - MarioMadness - 08-21-2009 HopeFully Someone Eles Will have a solution, I Just tried all i know about the problem lol. Sucks I Chouldnt Fix your Problem lol RE: Watchdog - Diddy Kong - 08-21-2009 http://cid-ec92aae47a89073b.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Emulation/Dolphin/Previous?view=details RE: Watchdog - FilthyOstrich - 08-22-2009 Ive actually found a buildthat ive managed to get about 35 fps out of on RE 0, its still pretty irratatiung to play tho... COuld it be the ROM? ON Super Mario sunshine I get about 45 FPS max when i put the limiter to 60 and when i turn it off it goes at about 100+fps and is far too fast lol. Also there is ZERO Sound!! On Zelda I have no sound also and i cant actually get the game goin coz it asks me to connect a nunchuck controller so i might just try GC version! The buld is: Dolphin SVN R 3661... Does that give any indication to you of what other builds might further enhance my chances of gettin a gd solid experience out of dolphin? Also, how do i fix sound issues liek this? Cheers 4 the help guys! RE: Watchdog - Diddy Kong - 08-22-2009 Glad I could help, Edit to your question, no its not the Rom/Iso itself, most likely its often either the Build or your Specs RE: Watchdog - FilthyOstrich - 08-23-2009 Recitified that moment of stupidity ![]() What else can I do? How about the sound issues? |
