Twilight Princess graphics upgrade :) - MikeVincent - 08-24-2014

Hello Smile
I only registered here to give people what I have made. I havent seen anyone really use the post processing effects, but instead worked with either texture packs(big cpu hog) or SweetFX. I know SweetFX compared to the already existing post processing effects can be confusing to get to work. Of course you would need to use OpenGL for PPE but there realy shouldn't be any issues, at least not with Twilight Princess. I have got it to work, well.. I think so far perfect with no map bugs or anything. You just need to fiddle with the settings Smile

So.. I got the DolphinFX from Asmodean's thread when browsing the web. I tried to fiddle a little with the settings and this is what came out! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. If not, it's probably easy to change to something completely different Smile Just put it in the Dolphin/Sys/Shaders map and it should be vissible in the post processing effects bar Smile Here's some shots for you!
(uh yeah, DISABLE Fog!)

Lastly, a comparision between todays standard of Gamecube emulation and the original Gamecube(or somewhat similar) =

Here's the file! And I play with it on the Gamecube version since it's easier to controll with a DS3! Smile

Also, it wont look as good to other games without some changes.

This looks actually pretty good to me. I don't know if I'd like to see Wind Waker's style changed at all, but it's really well put together for Twilight Princess.

Does this work for the latest versions of Dolphin with its updated shaders setup?

Thanx! Good thing with this is it's not independent on any texture packs or similar. I dont know why people havent used the post effects before I just got this idea when I tried the "toon" setting.
I think I play on the latest. 4.0.2 x64.

The latest dev builds changed how shaders work, you may need to update your shaders for them.
